The little things really do matter! Thanks HONEY!

My in-laws are cleaning house and sent us a box of piano music! It was great fun to open up the box and pull out each piece of music. Even Josh took a peek of what sent.

I sat down at the piano and stumbled through a few pieces. It was great fun! THANKS Charlie and Lin for the box of L O V E!
So....today, I took him into the Driver's License Division office to renew his learners permit. The guy at the desk looked at him and smiled, like, "are you kidding me?" He was very kind and actually gave Josh some pointers for what to expect for the driver's test. We processed all the paperwork, passed the background check, did a credit history, signed his life away (and mine), paid the $15, took another picture for his paper permit and walked out the door 1 hour later. Easy and ever so quick!
With spring approaching and summer plans unfolding he's beginning to think that it's time to bite the bullet and get his license. Afterall, it's teenage freedom, right? I do like that he is taking his time and realizing the responsibility of being a safe and cautious driver. I don't think Mom's want their kids to grow up to fast, at least not this Mom. I'll take him a few more days, weeks or even months as Joshua, the "learner's permit driver."
Remember to be Safety Kids! Buckle Up!
I purchased a bag at the beginning of the week. I took the bag to work with me. So it was just me....and "the bag"!

We found that Clover really loved to CHEW, SHAKE and TUG! These type of dogs were actually bred for catching rodents, so I assume the chew, shake and tug action would be how they kill their prey. (sorry if that's a bit upsetting!)
She took a particular liking to stuff animals around the house. Pretty much nothing was safe from the rath of Clover. We nicked named the stuff animals "babies" and now she has learned what a "baby" is. If you ask her to find her "baby" she will bring one to you. We quickly learned that if she had a "baby" that she would leave other items in the house alone. SO.....being the resourceful person that I am made a quick trip to the Deseret Industries (2nd hand store) and loaded up on "Babies!"
I decided it would be fun to document the "Baby" skins .... as we call them. We call them "Baby" skins because after Clover de-fluffs them, all this is left is the skins.
This was one of Clover's first "babies"! I believe it was a fish, but not for long.
This is what is left of a monkey. One of her favorites!
This used to be a bunny. How appropriate for Easter Time..eh? Happy Easter Bunny Skin!
I wonder if this one is one of the missing 101 dalmations?
Fun - A headless puppy! She seems to go for the face first. =)
The headless remains of one of Sesame Streets finest -- Elmo!
Two eyeless Care Bears! She's still working on these two.
Another interesting thing that she is does is push anything that is round, in particular soccer balls. Last Halloween time and I got out a big pumpkin to decorate the yard. It wasn't long before Clover had that pumpkin all over the yard tossing it up like a soccer ball.
Today, being the first day of spring, I filmed her playing with it. She's been working with this pumpkin all winter long!
She sure is a lot of fun! =) If only I could just have one more puppy.......

I can honestly say that phrase was used on many of occasions.
heard a van pull up in our driveway, then our front door open, and Clover went crazy barking!!! He then heard the door open again. This understandably got his attention and he went to the front door. At this time he saw a young boy about 9-12 years old dressed in black running towards a turquoise mini-van parked in our driveway. The boy quickly got in and the van drove away. After Landon relayed the story I gave Matt a call to see if this would be something that I should report to the police. He agreed. I then called dispatch and an officer came to our house and took the report.
At this point we are grateful for our little 16lb Clover who isn't afraid of barking at a stranger at the door! Whatever was this boy & driver's intention we are grateful this incident was as uneventful as it was. We are hoping it was an innocent mistake, but now a days you just can't be too careful!
I have a feeling that Landon will be locking the front door diligently!
Milli belongs to Matt's work-bud, Jordan. Jordan and his wife were headed out of town today and it just seemed like the neighborly thing to do to take her so she wouldn't have to stay in a kennel for the weekend.
Clover and Milli are having a blast!! Clover seems to have the upper hand with the speed, however Milli is learning about shortcuts.
Plus, I always welcome another "girl" in the house! =)
